Thrifting

Hoodie: F21

Striped Zip-Back Tank: Urban Outfitters
White Under-Tank: F21

Leggings: H&M
Flats: Target
Purse: F21
Watch: Geneva
(my watch finally came!)

Spent the day thrift store shopping with Taryn. We started here in the Orange Circle, didn't have much luck. It was so lovely walking around though. I pass by the circle every day I go to work but I forget how much fun it is to walk around and look through the windows of the antique shops. I wish I lived in a city where you could walk everywhere. After we left, we ended up at Buffalo Exchange and even after just having shopped there not too long ago, I bought a few shirts that were all great deals. :) I'm such a sucker for comfortable basic tees. But man, does shopping tire you out. The rest of my Sunday will be filled with finishing cleanin up my room and doin some laundry. Oh joy.

Jeffrey Campbell Yummyness

Want them, need them, gotta have them, D. all of the above. You know how I said I've been spending my free time drooling over shoes? Well, this is definitely one of them. I came across these Jeffrey Campbell wedges yesterday and I haven't stopped staring at them since. Only one problem.. they're a little too pricey for me to be spending on shoes :( A girl can dream right?

Cut It Out

Cut-out Sleeve Shirt: Unique LA
Side Zip Leggings: F21
Scarf: Boutique in San Diego
Heels: Christian Siriano
Jewelry: F21 and Unique LA
I was a little daring to wear this today considering the cold, brisk mornings still require a jacket.. but for some reason I've decided to wear a shirt with cut-outs and sandal heels.. hmm :) I suprisingly don't wear this shirt much and I really like it. I got it at this event in LA called Unique Los Angeles. It's an annual event where designers who haven't quite made it in the industry yet, come and set up booths and sell their merchandise. I went this year with my good friend Taryn who also shares a passion for fashion (and has an incredible blog that I envy, www.stylephenomenon.blogspot.com ) and we had a great time and purchased unique, creative items, including my shirt and my necklace. I highly suggest going next year, I'll definitely be there :)

It's finally Friday! Have a great weekend!

I went for a center part today! I've always wanted to try it but my bangs were never long enough.. now they are! What do ya think? I got this sweater yesterday and it is SO comfy and warm. It sucks that our winter isn't very long here so it wont get much wear. :(

Ashley Olsen

All images via Olsens Anonymous

I know it seems as though the Olsen's are everyone's style icons, but I had to do a post on Ashley. Just recently have I come to realize how much she inspires me. I love that she looks so chic in comfy clothes, which as I've said before is one of my favorite things to do, and she can have that grungy look yet still look sophisticated and clean cut, all at the same time. How does she do it?! It's one of my goals to at some point in 2010 figure it out and apply it to my style :)

Today I took the day off of work..and guess what I did.. went shopping hehe. So nice :) I got a ton of great deals including a vintage purse for $8 and a pair of acid washed jeans for $7! Can't beat that. I love Buffalo Exchange. And I'm so excited for my gold watch I ordered online. Can't wait for it to come! Hope your Tuesday's treating you well :)

Just Like a Circus

Blazer: Forever 21
Grey bat-wing sleeved sweater: store in LA
Black distressed jeans: Forever 21
Belt: H & M / Scarf: store in San Diego
Heels: Delicious / Boots: Girl Talk

I went to Kooza with my little sister, the latest Cirque du Soleil in my area. It was AMAZING. I was in awe and on the edge of my seat the entire show. Being a dancer, I really enjoy watching performances and always end up dancing my way back to my car and dreaming of the day I'll get to perform for a living and travel the country. One of my many dreams :)

I posted a picture of my outfit from going to the cirque as well as my outfit from yesterday which was basically the same, just changed the heels, and added a scarf.

Well, the sun is out this morning ... as much as I've been loving this rain, it is refreshing to see some sunlight and blue skies, I almost forgot for a moment that I lived in Southern Cali. Off to dance today and hopefully finishing painting my room finally. Have a wonderful day :)

HTG.81

Guess who has a kid's line? Forever 21!! It is so adorable. It makes me quite envious how much cuter the clothes look on tiny bodies. Heritage is my favorite line at Forever 21 and I'm glad they chose to start their kids line off as Heritage.

Well, Forever 21 does it again, they seize to amaze me!

Comfy Chic

Sweatshirt: F21
T-shirt dress: H & M
Leggings: H & M
Socks: Target
Boots: Girl Talk

Yet another rainy day.. I'm in heaven! This is one of those outfits that I like to call 'comfy chic' because it is so comfy, yet chic. I'm all about being comfortable when it comes to getting dressed in the morning, especially on rainy days like today.

Eye of the Storm

Coat: Rubbish, Nordstroms
Oversized Sweater: Silence&Noise, Urban Outfitters
Knit Leggings: F21
Boots: F21
Beanie and Belt: F21

It's been pouring all day and I luckily found a few minutes of sunniness to take some photos. I took the day off of work today and slept in, ran some errands, then went to Starbucks with a friend and enjoyed sitting on the couches, sipping coffee, and watching the rain pour. It was a perfect day :)

I've found that beanies are the perfect solution to all your hair problems on rainy days. Plus, they keep you warm and cozy! I love this oversized sweater; it has pockets! And these leggings are amazing because they're knit. Basically, I had a cozy outfit for a cozy day today :)

Rain, Rain, Stay Another Day

It's pouring outside :) I love when it rains and I especially love drinking coffee and bundling up. Yes, it is tough to look cute in the rain, however I love the drops of water that fall on my face and hair and how rosy my nose and cheeks get. As long as I stay relatively dry, I love it :)
