Follow Friday.

Seems as though I tend to partake in activites that lack existence of males. For example, I grew up dancing.. the majority of guys to girls is very low. And now, being involved in the fashion industry, I find myself in the same boat. That's why for Follow Friday this week, I chose Graham of Suck My Savvy. He is one of the only male fashion bloggers I have found that I think is worth reading. He has an amazing eye for style and shares his thoughts on art, music, and life. DO mix patterns this summer! Whether it's stripes and florals, or stripes and polka dots, mixing patterns is a definite must, especially with patterns on the rise right now. I chose to mix plaid and stripes today by looking for similar colors in each, to tie in the blend with out overdoing it. What do you think about mixing patterns this summer?

This week for Follow Friday, I chose one of my very close friends, Taryn of Style-Phenomenon. Her 1 year of blogging is approaching and I thought what a perfect time to make sure my followers have taken a peak at her amazing blog. In fact, she is the one that got me into blogging. Hers is incredible and she is so computer savvy unlike me :( So I read her blog, envious of her computer skills and dream of the day I will be able to do the things she does. Today was a t-shirt day. I felt like being extra comfy so I threw on this new tee I got on sale at Urban. Do you ever buy a graphic tee because you like the way it looks but you have no idea what it's for? I have no idea what this shirt means, I just liked the way it looked :) haha! I think it's awesome that comfy can still be cute. I love the dressed up sweatpants look that's in style right now because let me just say this, I have 2 drawers full of sweat pants.. enough said. I love being comfy and that always wins when deciding on an outfit or when I shop. Although there are times I make exceptions. Like I said before, the pains we go through for fashion.

Follow Friday.

It's that time again. Seems like Friday came quick this week, no complaints :) This week for Follow Friday I chose Vera from Deep In Vogue. Her blog definitely deserves a few minutes of your time, and I'm sure you'll find yourself spending much longer than a few minutes on it! She is so talented and designs and sews almost all of her clothes. I'm awaiting the day I see her on Project Runway! Check out her blog, she does an amazing job.

I was so excited when the manager at my internship offered me some of her jewelry that she handmakes. It is such cute stuff and it inspires me to make my own! She gave me some vintage button rings that she makes as well as the necklace I'm wearing above. I tried out a new color of lipstick called Strawberry Suede. I loved it! It lasted all day and I love that it's matte. I like adding a little splash of color. Sorry my images are a tad bit blurry. But a HUGE thank you to my great friend Heather for taking pics for me yesterday. :)

I bought this headband a few weeks ago and I've been dieing to wear it. I love the look of headbands worn like this but I had never tried it, thinking it wouldn't work with bangs.. but it does! It's been in the 80's the past couple days, but it's supposed to rain by this weekend.. our weather is so bipolar. Going to the beach today, soakin up the last bit of sun, then preparing for a weekend that will consist of hot cocoa, sweats, blankets, and movies. :) Hope you all have a great weekend!

I got this new elephant necklace recently and I'm in love with it! I wore this on a day that I woke up 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave! Sometimes the last minute outfits I put on are the ones I like the most. I just love how comfy this outfit was. I'm going to start spending more time altering clothes.. making shirts like this one. I love sewing and making things my own but the hard part is finding the time. So I'm going set aside a little time each weekend and just alter clothes I have to make them my own. Can't wait to share with ya'll!

Spring break is just about over. UGH. Went by way too fast and of course I put off doing all my homework until the end of my break so I will be spending the entire day doing it. :(
