For my new followers, my good friend Taryn and I started our own online vintage store, Theodora Vintage. After having a blast with our fall lookbook (here), we recently shot a spring lookbook which introduces our new men's line! Here's a few of my favorites but be sure to view the complete lookbook by clicking here! Enjoy! xx

Wardrobe Staples: Quality vs. Quantity.

We've been comparing garment quality a lot in my trend forecasting class and I've learned that quality versus quantity is a very important topic in fashion. When purchasing a wardrobe staple, like a blazer, quality is something to look for. A staple garment is something you'll want to last you a lifetime. They make up the basis of your wardrobe! They're incredibly versatile pieces and you want to be able to rely on them again and again. So when it comes to the essential pieces of your wardrobe, think quality, not quantity.  Here are a few of what I consider wardrobe essentials:

A Sartorial Man.

I really love men's fashion and I think Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist does an exquisite job of making me fall into a deeper infatuation with men who have style.

NYFW Favorites.

While I continue to dream of the day I can physically attend NYFW, or any fashion week for that matter, I must rely on the streetstyle photos of Mr. Newton and Vanessa Jackman in the meantime. And though it's not nearly the same as being there in person, the beautiful streetstyle photographs of NYFW get me just as giddy and excited. Here's a few of my favorites.

Coral Craze.

coral
At first I wasn't so crazy about this spring color but I have to admit the more and more I see it, the more I love it. I'm not a fan of wearing pink or bright colors but I like that this color fits neither of those categories. I can't wait to try out this color this season! In fact, I'm starting with my new J Brand Essie nail polish above that I just got yesterday! I know it's a bit advanced, but start stocking up on this color for spring!

I went to Urban Outfitter's the other day to return a pair of pants and to my surprise, they were having a huge sale. We all know I can't say no to a sale. So I ended up leaving with a bigger bag than I came in with! I got this shirt and I love the color!

Definitely money well spent.

Wearing an Urban Outfitters top, thrifted skirt, Deena & Ozzy booties, vintage clutch, H&M belt

This is that beautiful 1940's dress that I found at a flea market last week. It totally reminds me of something Free People would have. I can only imagine all the fabulous places this dress has been.

Worn with a H&M belt and Sam Edelman Zoe boots.
