Yesterday, I went to a photoshoot with the designer I interned for last semester. Her name is Melissa Carpenter and her brand is called Acoustic. It's kids clothes, but they are SOOO cute, sometimes I wish they made them in my size! This was my second photoshoot I've done with her and it was twice as much fun as the first one. Although it's tough work, especially with babies who don't always cooperate, it was such a blast and such a great learning experience. I got to pair outfits together and accessorize then help dress the babies as well as take behind the scenes photos. This was all a perfect example of why it's so important to not burn bridges with people. My internship ended and I sent Melissa a thank you card. A month later she emailed me to come to this photo shoot with her! It goes to show that it truely is important to keep good relationships with people because the industry is so small and you never know who you might run into in your careers. Today, I will hopefully finish painting my room. One wall left! I also plan to enjoy this last bit of sunny weather we have today, apparently a huge storm is coming this week! I love rain :) Have a great Sunday!!

Solids or Stripes?

I don't know if it's their casual look, or what they can be paired with, but I have an obsession with stripes!! I'm so glad it's a rising trend right now because it means I can add more to my closet!

My family took me to dinner at Lazy Dog Cafe. If you haven't been, you need to! It's SO delicious. We decided to just do appetizers and dessert, which doesn't sound like a lot but I was stuffed by the time we left! We got cajun fries, edamame, an inside out quesadilla, and their spinach sun dried tomato dip. And for dessert? A brownie sundae. I think this was one of the least healthy meals I have ever eaten, but it was my birthday, so I decided to splurge a tad. :)

Tonight is round two of the birthday dinners. I am going to Claim Jumper with my girl friends. I'm planning on wearing my new dress and heels :) I love getting dressed up! Happy Friday to everyone!! T.G.I.F. <3

I spent my birthday shopping at the Ontario Mills Outlets; I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my birthday, considering I'm sort of a shopaholic. ;) I got a lot of good deals, and lots of stripes... they're my current obsession.

Birthday Girl

Today is my birthday. I'm going shopping with a friend, which is exactly how I would want to spend my birthday :) Then tonight I'm going out to dinner and tomorrow my friends are throwing me a party. I'm really not a huge fan of my birthday and I can't believe how fast it snuck up on me! I'm 19!!

Yey! It's raining today! I was thinking this morning, thank god for tights. I have definetly put them to good use this winter. I love that you can wear summer clothes with tights during the winter, like these denim shorts. I'm proud of myself for wearing my hair different :) Looking forward to getting my big paycheck today!...and spending it tomorrow when I go shopping ;) Last day as an eighteen year-old!
