Spent the day laying on the beach, soaking up some warm sun, and reading a book.. it sure is a tough life going to school next to the beach ;) My streetstyle teacher talked about blogging in class yesterday and how the world of runway fashion will be changing in the near future due to bloggers. A few years ago, before fashion blogging really became well known, the only people to attend fashion week were writers for magazines, buyers, store owners.. basically people that were looking for upcoming trends and clothes to buy for their stores. Runways always show clothes months before the clothes will hit stores. So if bloggers are now being invited to runway shows, and are blogging and posting pictures on the trends right after the shows, noone's going to want the clothes by the time they hit stores months later. So over the next few years, it has been said that runway shows will be evolving and I think it's a pretty crazy change, and pretty exciting! The pace that we demand information these days is insane. I dream of the day I'll be sitting front row at fashion week :)
