This is that beautiful 1940's dress that I found at a flea market last week. It totally reminds me of something Free People would have. I can only imagine all the fabulous places this dress has been.

Worn with a H&M belt and Sam Edelman Zoe boots.

I'm a little late in the game, but I'm going to get my hair done like this, ombre. I've been wanting to for a while now and after going brunette, I thought lightening my ends would be fun. I love how easy going the look is. What do you think of the ombre hair color?

Wearing a vintage velvet blazer, thrifted dress, Sam Edelman Zoe boots

I've found myself slightly obsessed with this shade of orange lately. I truly think this could be "the next" color. I'm doing a bit of trend forecasting but keep your eyes peeled for it!

Trend to Try: Sheer Maxi Skirt.

Sheer Maxi
I don't know about you, but I've been dying to try out a sheer maxi skirt! I think maxi's looks great paired with a loose, light-weight sweater and a pair of platforms. This skirt is from Nasty Gal (my guilty pleasure), and if I had all the money in the world, this would already be in my closet. Instead, I will be on the prowl for one more in my price range.. maybe I'll even make one!

Treasures.

Went to one of my favorite little flea markets this morning and came home with arms full of goodies! The dress above is my favorite purchase today. It's from the 1940's and is insanely perfect. I'm head over heals in love with it. Below is a shirt I got from H&M yesterday and I've already worn it twice. It's a great camel color.

[the lady selling this bag told me that her and her daughter both loved this bag and used it for a long time. I love things with history]

Litas and Lace Dresses.

Found this dress a while ago originally to sell on my site, Theodora Vintage, however, I love it so much that I'm not sure I can part ways with it! Today's breezy wind was perfect for this flowy vintage dress and my new hat kept my hair in-tact and out of my face.

DIY White Board.

Photobucket

Heather of Pretty Little Inspiration surprised me with this unique DIY white board for my birthday! It's such a fun and simple DIY and makes for a great gift. I'm in the process of cleaning out and organizing my room and this white board is going to be so helpful for my many to-do lists I create throughout the week.

Do it Yourself:
1. Find a frame you like. I love the rustic touch this frame has.
2. Choose a pretty piece of fabric or paper to put in the frame as a background. Heather chose this white lace paper.
3. Get some fun markers to write on it with and vuala... you just made a white board.

Sunny Day for Sam Edelman.

Foreign Exchange blouse, unknown tank dress, Sam Edelman boots, vintage necklace

A sunny day indeed. My gorgeousssss Sam Edelman Zoe booties came in the mail Monday and I'm in love! They fit to the T and to my surprise are not only comfortable, but super easy to walk in! Although, I have yet to wear them for an 8 hour work shift. I got this shirt recently and I like it so much that I might go back and get it in white too! It's so unique and I love that it's longer in back and cropped in front. Can't wait to play around with how to wear it. You can see it in white on one of my favorite bloggers, FadetoBlack, by clicking here.
