[Vogue October 2010]

Finding the time to sit down and really enjoy a good magazine is starting to seem nearly impossible. The stack of "to-be-read" magazines continues to pile up as my schedule continues to fill up. After finally getting to read over the latest issue of Vogue, I felt so much inspiration. Carrie Mulligan is such a sweet classic beauty and her impeccable, effortless style continues to put me in awe. The pieces used in this shoot are so breathtaking and no one could have worn them better. It's so nice feeling inspired, isn't it?

Three Dimensional.

Not only have the movies taken everything to 3-D, Barney's Fall 2010 catalogue goes 3-D too. I think it's a brilliant idea and I can't wait to see the feedback on this and where it's headed. Who knows, we may live the rest of our lives in 3-D glasses! What's your take on making fashion ads and cataglogues 3-D?

Red Hot.

So sorry for my leave of absence from this for the past week. Life's been crazy busy (in a great way) and this unfortunately comes last.

I've always found red to be a fascinating color to accessorize with and when I see it used in an editorial, I find it all the more fascinating. There's something about red that makes me feel confident, and all I need is a small splash to do the job. What color makes you feel most confident?

Foam.

The Very Fabulous Emma Roberts.

I was recently introduced to Foam Magazine and knew instantly that it was love at first sight. This premier female publication is dedicated to its positive influence on fashion, art and music... the three things I love most. Emma Roberts is on the cover of the latest issue and her grunge inspired spread is "very fabulous" to say the least. Grunge has always been one of my favorite styles, yet I can't seem to pull it off well enough. Instead, I enjoy envying those who can... and Emma Roberts, she definitely can.

I came across this editorial that I absolutely loved. I've been really inspired by the 70's lately and these photographs have clearly been styled with that era in mind. From the fringe, to the fur, to the flower headbands, the 70's styles are on their way to making a comeback..and I could not be more excited!
